Western Civilization Fund is an independent, U.S.-based 501(c)(3) public charity. We fund the European founders and institutions renewing our shared civilization: its faith, its families, its freedom, and its nations.
01The stakes
One civilization, one future.
America and Europe share more than geography and interests. We share a culture, a faith, ties of family, and generations of standing together in war and peace.
Above all, we share one inheritance. It runs from Jerusalem, Athens, and Rome, through the Christian centuries and English common law, to the American founding. It taught that every person has rights no government may deny, that power must answer to law, and that free nations govern themselves.
These principles belong to no single continent. They will be defended on both sides of the Atlantic, or lost on both.
02What is at risk
The foundations are under pressure.
Censorship.
Speech codes, online monitoring, and penalties for lawful opinion narrow what citizens can say.
Hostility to faith.
Christian faith is being pushed out of public life. Believers have been arrested for silent prayer.
Family decline.
Marriage and birth rates are falling, and too few young people are taught to love the civilization they inherit.
Lost sovereignty.
Mass immigration and EU overreach weaken secure borders and the right of nations to govern themselves. Power passes to bodies that answer to no voter.
Big government.
High taxes and heavy regulation stifle enterprise, innovation, and investment.
None of this is inevitable. The answer is to renew our heritage through institutions strong enough to carry it forward.
03The case
Why U.S. support matters.
Europe’s course affects America. A Europe unsure of its heritage is less able to resist threats from outside and decay from within. Speech rules written there increasingly reach American citizens and companies.
American conservatives have built institutions that sustain a movement: research centers, legal advocates, independent media, and leadership programs. Europe’s conservatives have the conviction, the talent, and a rising generation. What they lack are institutions and early support.
WCF closes that gap. We give U.S. donors a disciplined, accountable way to stand with those defending the West in Europe.

Free speech.
The freedom to speak, publish, and debate without fear is the first safeguard of every other liberty.
Religious liberty and Judeo-Christian heritage.
We defend the freedom to pray, worship, and live by faith in public, and the place of that heritage in national life.
Family and the next generation.
Strong families are the foundation of a healthy nation. We support families and the formation of the young, including a new generation of Christian leaders.
Sovereign nations and secure borders.
Free peoples govern themselves. We defend national self-government against EU overreach, and every nation’s right to secure its borders and decide its own future.
Free enterprise.
Prosperity comes from free people, not the state. We champion property rights, free markets, low taxes, and light regulation, and we oppose socialism. We stand with innovators from industry to technology and digital assets.
